From may 2025 , Tokyo metro will be operating a London tube line for a minimum of 7 years
The Elizabeth line in london which was run by hong kong’s MTR since the opening in 2022 is now being replaced after Tokyo metro won a bid to operate it.
Tokyo Metro is one of the busiest transit sysems in the world, seeing 5.95 million riders per day. whilst almost never having any delays. hopefully this translates to the Elizabeth line aswell.
